The fruit notes hit with goji, strawberry & citrus. Gargari Gutiti exhibits an elevated sweetness and acidity that dances upon the palate.
This clean washed lot is made up from the cherries grown by some 3,200 farmers in Gargari Kabele in the Gedeb region of Ethiopia. The farmers primarily cultivate Landrace 74110, a variety selected by the Jimma Agricultural Research Center for its yield, disease resistance, and cup quality. This cup shines with a sparkling acidity, an elevated sweetness, and a delicate yet well-annunciated floral tone. We tasted lilacs, white florals, blackcurrant, plum, a purple grape aroma, an effervescent citrus acidity, and a juicy clean body.

Every coffee we share has been tasted and recommended by our expert Tasting Panel who have years of experience in specialty coffee. We cast a wide net, trying hundreds of coffees, keeping an open mind to new regions, processes, and roasters, and going through many rounds of cupping. If there was an easier way of choosing each coffee, we wouldn't want to do it.
